Comedy Central Insider

Comedy Central Insider
Comedy Central has been a reliable source of belly laughs for as long as I can remember. Especially now that they have Futurama! What you might not've known is that they have their own blog that is, in some ways, funnier than the actual channel.

I love comedy. Perhaps not the most original statement in the history of man, but it's quite true. And, as I'm sure you do too, I'm gonna show you something cool: Comedy Central Insider. This site/blog will provide you with an abundance of comedic material that is sure to make any day, even an awful day at the office, just a bit more entertaining.

First of all, like any good blog, the writers are fantastic. There are a couple you'll grow to know by name, like Matt Tobey, or Gonzalo Cordova. These guys bring you the awesomest of awesome comedy news, while simultaneously making you laugh. Truly an honorably job. The material featured on the blog is well-varied and usually interesting, if not hilarious. You'll often find interviews with some of today's funniest comedians and actors, top 10 lists (usually concerning Stephen Colbert), and sometimes a left-leaning political post or two, but if that's not your thing, their massive inventory of funny should keep you entertained for a while.

My favorite part of the Comedy Central Insider blog is the "before they get stale" posts. Every few days these posts pop up, bringing you a long list of interviews, features, videos, news, and other assorted nonsensical cool things to look at. The latest post includes Christian Finnegan, Seth Rogen, and Seth McFarlane, to name a few. Comedy Central Insider also has a ridiculously long area on the side of their site dedicated to tags, composed of people, places, shows, etc. Going back through the posts via these tags can be especially fascinating and good to kill time.

Comedy Central Insider really does give you a good look at the inside of Comedy Central. Often-times they have posts dedicated to material that happens behind the scenes, or a closer look at the stars who populate their shows. It's definitely an interesting blog to read, even daily as they update often. If you're like me and you want to see your favorite comedians and comediennes all in one spot, check out Comedy Central Insider.
