Mini Chill Relaxation Shot

Mini Chill Relaxation Focus & Stress Relief Shot
Seems like Anti-Energy (Relaxation?) Drinks are gaining ground on Energy Drinks as the new fad, and that's a fad I'm totally down with. Like Pogs. In fact, next time I enjoy a Relaxation drink, I might just have to bust out my old Pog collection. Who's in?

Mini Chill Relaxation Shot
The "We" in We Rate Stuff are pretty familiar with relaxation drinks. We gave Drank a shot, and that was interesting, as well as purple. The kind folks at Mini Chill were wonderful enough to provide us with some free samples of their Berry Bliss Mini Chill Relaxation Shot, and now I'm here to provide a free sample of that experience.

First things first, what's in this thing? According to Mini Chill, the key ingredient is Relarian - "an all natural patent pending blend of amino acids and herbs designed by doctors for fast-acting long-lasting mood enhancement and focus". It doesn't exactly sound like it would taste like rainbows, but surprisingly, the taste is significantly better than Drank's relaxation drink, which is also significantly more liquid. The Mini Chill shot has a clean, crisp berry flavor that goes down feeling cool and refreshing, even at room temperature. So these are very easy to drink, even if you don't wanna take it like a shot and decide to instead sip it, which sounds weird but it actually tastes pretty good.

Now, let's analyze this here situation here. First of all, just looking at the bottle, there are seemingly four different purposes this Mini Chill shot serves: Relaxation, Natural stress relief, Mood enhancement, and Focus. Those are some serious claims for a shot of liquid, and also ostensibly contradictory - how can you be relaxed but focused? What is non-drowsy relaxation? After experiencing the Mini Chill shot, I've found this is something that you're probably just going to have to feel for yourself, but I'll try to explain it.

It says on the bottle that it works best on an empty stomach. Yesterday morning, I was restless after doing homework for a few hours, with a bit left to go, and I hadn't eaten anything, so I figured it was the perfect time to experiment with it. It was 10:56, and I was about to take an online quiz for Intro to the Internet (I'm learning' 'bout the intarwebs, Ma!), so I decided to knock it back at 11 on the dot, and take notes along the way. Here are the notes I took:

11:02 - My stomach feels kinda funky for a few moments, then settles back down

11:05 - Felt a strange calmness wash over me, then quickly fade

11:10 - My movements feel smoother, you really notice it more when you're just doing something and not trying to feel it

11:13 - Honestly I kinda feel like I took some Benadryl, but without the drowsiness

11:16 - Kinda feeling the focus aspect of it; it was easy to keep reading amidst the distractions around me

11:35 - I'm still feeling the effects

11:41 - Tried texting someone and found it surprisingly more difficult than normal. Typing however is just as easy as usual

11:55 - Thought the effects had faded for the most part. Stopped what I was doing for a minute and realized they're still pretty much there

~12:30 - The effects had seemingly worn off mostly

At 11, I started reading the chapter in the book, and at 11: 30 I started taking the actual quiz. The quiz was 25 questions; it took me about ten minutes, for the most part I flew through it. I definitely retained most of what I read while on the Mini Chill, only referring back to the book for three or so questions. I found it easier to focus and immediately understand the questions rather than having to read them again, or ponder the answers for a minute. I quickly knew which answer was correct, most of the time. And I got a 100% on it. So, as far as focusing goes, I can attest to its viability.

As far as the actual effects go, it's still kinda hard to describe. I definitely felt relaxed in a kinda weird way, I felt down but not tired, slow but not slow. I dunno if "relaxed" is the best word for it. I did feel relaxed, but it's more of an intent relaxation; you don't wanna lay down and fall asleep, it keeps you awake, but it puts you at ease and smoothens you out. I guess that's how you can be focused, yet relaxed. As far as stress relief, I wasn't in the most stressful situation, but I can imagine how it could help. Mood enhancement is kinda ambiguous and mysterious, so I don't know if my mood was really "enhanced". But I did like how it felt, and I would certainly take a Mini Chill shot again, whether I'm doing homework, taking a stroll through the woods, or what have you; it says "Great Anytime" on the bottle, and I'd say that's pretty accurate. Whatever it does, it works.

I really think Minichill is one of the best drinks period. I recently ordered a batch off it, off their website on http://minichill.com/store/
it's amazing stuff, since I didn't fall asleep at ALL, even after the effect wore off.

Minichill - your bloggers are pretty obvious. Try getting some real reviews from real people

Yes, because the Mini Chill shot is one of the hundreds of reviews I've written for this site that I co-founded, I must be a blogger for Mini Chill.
