McDonald's McCafe Iced Mocha

Iced Mocha McCafe Review
I'm not a big coffee guy, myself, but if I were, I'd go for something cold and sweet like this McDonald's McCafé Iced Mocha that David seems to enjoy. Alas, I am not, so I'm relegated to posting the review and wondering how it tastes. Fine with me.

McDonald's McCafe Iced Mocha
Ah, coffee. The fuel of choice for many, many Americans... I myself drink lots of coffee, and enjoy it thoroughly. Many have it in the morning, but I sometimes have it during the day for that extra kick in the pants (ironically, said kick is what I usually need to write these reviews, especially when I have a time limit). That said, being a coffee drinker, let me give you a short thought on McDonald's McCafe variety of coffee, specifically the Iced Mocha.

I can assure you that McDonald's is on that thin line between good and bad. The flavors are a bit harsh (read: you can REALLY taste the coffee), but resolve to taste really good... if you like the normal black coffee taste. It's sweet, and then manages to be really bitter at the same time, which... ends up tasting odd, but in a good way.

The name may conjure up an image of a sort of slurpee-like coffee, but in reality the drink is a cup filled with ice, and then coffee. It also has a slight chocolate flavor, due to the five or so squirts of chocolate syrup included beforehand. The mocha is topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. This coffee is also espresso, and can be bought in whole or nonfat milk varieties, for those interested in losing weight. The price weighs in at $2.99, ending up at a total of about $3.20, which is better than Starbuck's, and not bad for the taste.

There isn't really a way for me to describe it otherwise. If you like the taste of coffee, go ahead and give it a try. I happen to like it, but for more delicate palettes, it might not be the best choice of caffiene. Final verdict: Good to me, but your mileage may vary.
